Breaking Stuff and Then Making Stuff Up
The current administration’s MO is to break stuff and then make stuff up to justify their norm/rule/lawbreaking. And if *that* doesn’t work, then they just ignore whoever is kvetching and carry on wrecking. In the making stuff up category, we see the usual projection-o-rama, accusing others of their own crimes. Otherwise, how in the good lord’s name can you explain pardoning the banana republican former president of Honduras who famously boasted about sticking the (400 tons) of cocaine he was trafficking, “right up the gringos’ noses.”
Or how about the U.S.-based banana Republicans claiming to be the party of the working class while foisting the Silicon Valley’s geek squad of oligarchs on us?
Lastly, and I almost thought to exclude it because it’s been such a constant assault on our collective sanity, how does this bumbling fascist grifting fool, who is constantly lying and cheating, pass himself off us the “law and order” president?
Because there’s a significant segment of our fellow citizens who are perfectly content to hear whatever they want to believe instead of using the few remaining brain cells that have managed to survive the onslaught of processed food, Fox News, and opioids to do something that might approximate critical thinking.
No wonder the Fanta führer famously intoned, “I love the poorly educated people.”
