As John Stewart has pointed out frequently, it almost seems redundant to point out the sheer hypocrisy of the GOP and its endless stream of twisty, flip floppy contradictions. But then when your entire reason for existence is built on a big fat hairy lie - white supremacy - I guess you just gotta do what you gotta do to get through the day.
One of the bigger, hairier, and no more hilarious prevarications is the GOP claiming the “Law and Order” mantle. Thanks to their furious, no holds barred collective tongue bathing of the sphincter of the Dear Leader they have abandoned any pretense of going after criminals never mind remaining committed to upholding the rule of law.
Of course, the Democratic Party leadership never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity: instead of pointing out the obvious - most of our laws are incredibly unjust and intended to maintain control over genuine political competition and access to public decision making. Instead, they try to outdo the GOP in their clownish performative fascism.
